Nokomis South Science Fair
Dear Families,
The Science Fair is back! It will be on Wednesday, May 25th. E1 and E2 students will work on a whole class project during science class to model the process. Ms. Nicci’s E2 class will all be working on projects. For everyone else, the science fair is optional. More information will be went home with your student last week so make sure to read through the science fair packet for more details. If your student wants to participate, they need to turn in the project entry form by Thursday, April 14th. I’m excited to see what your students discover through their science fair projects! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

If you haven’t yet, please take 1-2 minutes to complete this form about your plans for next fall. We ask that you do so by Friday, April 1st.
As we approach the end of another school year and prepare for next year, it is very helpful for us as a school to understand how many families are planning to return next school year. We hope all can return, but we understand for some families that just isn’t possible.
It is especially important in our planning as we often have a waiting list, and we’d like to invite as many families to join our community as we can!
Please complete a form for each child you currently have in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade at Nokomis Montessori South.

Suggest a Local Business for Silent Auction
Every year, our Nokomis South community hosts a silent auction to raise money for field trips and the E2 Artists in Residence Program. Students write to local businesses to ask for donations for the silent auction.
We are looking to update our list of business addresses for this year’s silent auction. Please consider the businesses your family frequents or with which you are connected.
